Ronnie takes his grandmother, Ms. Ethel, on a whirl back in time. Emmett goes on a cannabis run with Tiff. Douda’s campaign hits another speed bump when a past wound draws fresh blood.”

Keisha is back in her prison, she looks so upset, she has markers and a piece of paper, she is drawing a birthday cake.

We look back to Kevin with Keisha, he tells her he wants things to be better for a while. It is his birthday, She made him an album with family photos. All of a sudden, everybody sings happy birthday to Kevin. Then we see Keisha’s drawing, it says happy birthday bro. Her captor enters the room, he snaps his fingers twice, Keisha gets off the bed, he sits down on the bed and brushes her hair. He tells her that it is nice, very nice. Then he kisses her on the head and tells her that she is a good girl. There is a knock on the door, her captor gets up to answer it. Robbie is at the door, he tells him that he knows it sounds strange, but he heard someone scream from this house the other night. The captor says everyone hears screams in this neighborhood. Ronnie asks to go to the washer, he says he hasn’t got a pot to piss in and asks him to help a brother out, Keisha’s captor opens the door and lets Ronnie in.

Inside the house, Ronnie looks around, he tells the man that it is a nice place. Ronnie is ushered upstairs to the bathroom, Keisha hears the footsteps. Her captor goes back down to see her. All of a sudden, Keisha screams help, Ronnie purposely flushes the toilet. Ronnie comes running down and asks the man if he hears that, the man is about to hit Ronnie on the head with a trophy when Ronnie says he must be hearing things.

Kevin arrives home, Nina and Dre got him a present and his mother tells him to get his butt home and spend time there for his birthday.

Kevin is with Jemma roller skating for his birthday. Meanwhile, Keisha’s captor is upset that she was screaming. He tells her that when he first saw her she reminded him of his very first crush, she was so damn pretty, he loved her hair most, it was just like hers. He asked her out on a date and she rejected him, she preferred a guy on the football team. Then she started flaunting her hair and wearing short skirts, always had the buttons on her blouse open. As he speaks, he cuts off Keisha’s hair. He goes on to say that this crush ended up getting fat, pregnant, and on welfare, he couldn’t save her, but he tells Keisha that he can save her.

Opal, Douda’s mother, makes a television appearance slamming her son, saying that he only cared about money and she endorses his opponent. Douda is watching with Roselyn and he tells her not to engage in that bullshit.

Emmett follows Tiffany on her marijuana delivery and starts causing problems when he asks for a discount. However, Brandon’s cousin owns the place and agrees to give them an overall deduction on their purchase. They all take shots to toast the deal.

Papa is with his new girlfriend picking up Kevin’s cake, he asks her when they can go public, she tells him that she will let him know. Kevin’s name is misspelled on the cake, he tells the clerk that he is not leaving until a hit is fixed, they fix it, but it is a botched job. They leave the bakery and Papa actually drops the cake, he tells his girlfriend they spelled his name wrong anyway and both smile at each other.

Tiffany and Emmett visit a client of hers that is a psychic that doesn’t have enough money to pay, so she gives them a free reading. She tells them that their love will be tested and there is danger in the horizon. The psychic tells them that Emmett will never be satisfied with Tifanny.

We see Keisha with her captor, he is trying to feed her and tells her that she has to keep her strength up.

Roselyn meets with Douda’s mother and offers her cash to keep her mouth shut, she takes it and signs a non-disclosure agreement, but tells Roselyn that she would rather have Camille run the city than her own son.

Ronnie takes his grandmother to a jazz club that she used to own but now has become a strip club. Meanwhile, Kevin is out with Jemma, he opens up his present from her, She tells him that she really likes him, she confesses to him that it was her, the reason why the kids knew about her sister. She was telling her mom and it got out, she didn’t mean for it to happen. Kevin gets mad and storms off.

Jake met up with Trig who wanted to know where Reggie kept his emergency money. The two go look for the money, and Douda’s worker finds them, Trig beats him up. Trig tells Jake it was either the guy or him.

Douda holds a press conference and announces that his mother is suffering from mental illness.

Nina and Dre are decorating for Kevin’s party, Papa is there and he apologizes about Kevin’s cake. All of a sudden, Kevin is outside the apartment when he gets a call from a blocked caller, it is Keisha and her captor, she wanted to hear her brother’s voice, so he called him and after the call, he asked her if she is happy now. Kevin walks in and everyone shouts surprise.

Ronnie returns grandma back to her bed, she complains that she is cold, he goes to get her a blanket, and she passes away. Ronnie starts to cry.
